Prayer Requests/Praise Reports

PaPa (Tom's dad) had sinus surgery this afternoon. The doctor said the surgery went beautifully. We are praying for a speedy, painless recovery. Tom said PaPa can already breathe better - thank You, Jesus!!


Tricia (you can read more on her husband's blog here ) is in ICU at Duke. She is recovering from pneumonia. Please lift her, her husband, Nate, and their daughter, Gwyneth Rose, up in prayer. Tricia's temperature is back to normal and she is resting comfortably. Praise God!


Anya and Darrell found out today that God is blessing them with a baby boy!! We are so excited for them! Please cover them in prayer as they await his arrival in March. Natalie will be a wonderful big sister. Thank You, Lord, for Your hand of protection over them and their healthy baby boy. We praise You for the miracle of life growing inside of Anya. We praise You for the mighty plans You have for this family, in Jesus' precious name, Amen and Amen!

The economy - Lord, Your Word tells us "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
May we humble ourselves and pray, O, Lord - may we seek Your face, Your Will and may we turn from our wicked ways. The ways of trying to do things on our own - apart from You. May we turn to You - trust in You. You are Jehovah Jireh - our Provider! You provide!! Let Your people see and trust You completely in ALL circumstances. This is Your land and it IS healed!

The election - Lord, we lift up the upcoming elections to You. Lord, thank You that we live in a country where we have the opportunity to vote. We lift up Senator Barak Obama, Senator Joe Biden, Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin up to You, Father. Thank You for them - for their wiliness to serve this country. Thank You for Your hedge of protection surrounding them. Thank You for giving them wisdom and guidance. May You touch them and give them deeper revelation of who they are in You. Give them words to speak, O Lord in Jesus' name, Amen!

Let us cast ALL our cares and concerns upon the Lord, for He cares for us.
