Cabinet

Since my last post I've had a volunteer for one of the cabinet positions. Here are my picks for my cabinet.

VP - Of course would be my hubby, Tom.

Secretary of Agriculture - I'd have two - my grandparents - Mammy and Papa know all about growing a plentiful garden.

Secretary of Interior - This position would have to go to Betty (my mother-in-law). She has a gift for decorating. She can do wonders with any interior.

Secretary of Commerce - My step mother, Kay, would handle this position. She is good at shopping.

Secretary of Justice -My boy, Wooten, would get this title. He knows how to make sure justice is served - just ask his brother and sister.

Secretary of Defense - This was a no brainer - with the defense West Johnston has - my brother, Bennett, gets this job.

Secretary of Labor - This position goes to someone who knows all about labor - childbirth and hard work. My mama would take over this position.

Secretary of Education - My sister-in-law (Tom's little sis), Jennifer, would be great at this job. She has a degree in education, is a born teacher, picks out great books and has neat teacher's handwriting.

Secretary of State - Oh, my father-in-law, Bill, would be a sure fire pick for this office. He has a lot of knowledge and according to the grand kids - is never wrong.

Secretary of Energy - Hands down this job goes to Christian. That boy has loads of energy.

Secretary of Transportation - I figured my brother-in-law, Ronnie, would be a good choice here. He knows a lot about cars and he is a cyclist.

Secretary of Health and Human Resources - This was an easy pick. Co-secretaries - My sister-in-law, (Bennett's wife) Jennifer, works in Human Resources in a hospital. My aunt, Vicky, is a pharmacist who works in a hospital and is married to a chiropractor.

Secretary of Treasury - My daddy has already volunteered for this job. Since he has years of experience working in the banking business (not to mention being my daddy and funding me through high school, my continuing education and my wedding) he should be a good choice.

Secretary of Homeland Security - My brother, Brad (or Tiny as he is known to his friends), would be a wonderful choice for this position. Nobody wants to mess with Brad.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs - This is a two man job. My brother-in-law, Matt and my uncle, Paul since they are both Marines. Once a Marine always a Marine.

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development - My grandmother, Mimi, she is all about helping those in need.

Cabinet Rank Members

Chief of Staff - That would have to be Anna Gracen - my right hand girl. She would love being chief of the staff and tell others what to do (she's great at that just ask her brothers).

National Drug Control Policy - My sister-in-law, Colleen, because she is a substance abuse counselor.

There are a few offices left. I may have to recruit my nieces and nephews. Nepotism is alive and well in my cabinet.
