Go Wildcats!!! (revised from this afternoon)

Usually you hear that followed by "Get your head in the game". Those familiar with "High School Musical" recognize those words. I'm not putting them here in honor of "HSM 3" coming out in theaters this fall. They are here in honor of my brother being named head football coach at West Johnston High School (the Wildcats) in Benson, NC. He will also be the head track and field coach. You can read more here. This is a wonderful accomplishment for Bennett. We are all so proud of him. Bennett has had the opportunity to work with some great coaches and awesome athletes in the past. These coaches aren't just co-workers they are life long friends. The athletes aren't just athletes they are fine young men excelling on and off the field/track.

Can you tell that I am proud? Can you also tell that I am a cheerleader at heart (as well as a past cheerleader - I think once you are a cheerleader you are always a cheerleader - kinda like the saying about Marines - once a Marine always a Marine.)(That makes better sense now doesn't it, Matt?)

One last time (in this post anyway) - "GO WILDCATS!!!!"

Revision: Please excuse the TERRIBLE typos in the previous version of this post. My brain was fried from being at VBS all day. We had a blast though (which is why my brain was and is fried). Yeah, spell check finds misspelled words but not idiot mistakes. I think it's time for bed. Another day of VBS tomorrow.

  1. Matt said, "What do you mean? Once you're a Marine, you're also a cheerleader?" Then he commented on how the cheers are quite different! Congrats to Bennett!
