The eyes of the world will soon be on the Olympics. But the eyes of God remain on His children and especially those who suffer for their faith.
Despite what you may hear in the news, Chinese Christians who refuse to register with the government controlled church are being persecuted. Many have undergone horrific suffering.
Recently a prominent representative of a group of house churches in China asked Christians throughout the free world to pray for China during the Olympics. The Voice of the Martyrs, in partnership with China Aid Associates, has accepted that call and has produced the Olympic Prayer Band. We would like to invite you to request one to wear during the Olympics. Similar prayer bands will also be distributed to house church Christians in China and they will be praying for you as well.

When I received the bands I ordered in the mail, the kids asked me about them. I explained about praying for China. Wooten spoke up and said, "We should pray for all the nations." Out of the mouths of babes. Yes, we should. We pray for unity in the body of Christ - that body is all over this world. We have brothers and sisters in many nations. Let us unite in Him and pray one for another in Jesus' mighty name!!

I pray that God's glory be manifested in China. His light dispels any darkness. I pray for safety for the Christians in China and all the athletes participating in the Olympics. I pray they know God's truth and experience His peace. This coming together of the nations in China is significant. Let us pray with expectant hearts to see God's glory poured out upon His children as they gather. I decree and declare that the news media will report on all that the Lord does during the games. Their eyes will be opened to Him. There will be no denying Him in Jesus' name I pray, Amen and Amen!
